In Larissa, Greece 5 training courses were realised in order for migrant and refugees women to be trained on developing their Digital; Personal, social and learning; Civic; Cultural awareness and expression as well as Leadership competences. Five (5) groups of migrant and refugee women were trained with more women following the digital courses. Furthermore 1 training course for developing leadership competences took place. In total 103 participants were trained and benefitted by the InCommon outcomes.
After their participation at the trainings, groups of refugee women, expressed their interest to participate further, and with the help of our facilitators they organized several interventions concerning their cultural activity at their host society. This ended with women organising play dates, yaga classes, creative activities, cookouts as well as participating in the city events for the International of the Elimination of Violence against Women (25th of November). We are so proud for them !!!
