In continuance to the other activities that the migrants and refugees, the beneficiaries of the InCommon project have thought and organized a sewing class. Again this was very interesting and usefull for the participants for two reasons :
1) When arriving in Greece they brought only the essential staff with them, including limited amount of clothes and unfortunately, it is very hard to find in Larissa clothes that are culturally appropriate for them and it would be very useful to have the chance to create some of those themselves.
2) It is a way to express themselves and feel productive and usefull.
The women themselves organized the course and DIMITRA education and Consulting and the Municipality of Larissa helped with providing material and venue for the activity.
The activity connects with level 4 of the Cultural Citizenship Scale because it was thought and organized by migrant women but can be applied to any level.
