As it was very obvious during the Incommon training activities, family is the focal point of the newly arrive refugee women, at least for those who are lucky enough to be with their families. Thus, the first Activity that the women in Greece decided to organise, was to have some fun with their children, that they have been to very difficult and stressful situations to arrive in the country and at the same time to be carefree enough to discuss with their friends and enjoy their time.
The play date took place on September at an outdoor playground with lots of facilities both for Children and adults. The participants with their children had the chance to have fun and also mingle with the other adults and children at the playground as this is something very common in the everyday life of the locals in order to socialize and spend time with their children.
The activity connects with level 1 of the Cultural Citizenship Scale.
