Youth unemployment is probably one of the most urgent problems in the EU. Today’s youth are three times more likely to be unemployed than adults. To deal with this reality, it is necessary to promote effective training programs aimed to this group, enabling them to expand their career options in order to access to the European labour market.
Several initiatives such as the YES Project (Youth unemployment fostering Entrepreneurial Skills), in which DOCUMENTA takes part, along with other European organizations, propose a practical approach to support young unemployed people, focusing on entrepreneurship skill development and training, in line with the EU key competence “Sense of the of Entrepreneurship”. The project focuses on the transfer of two previously developed training products: the profile of the young entrepreneur (model and questionnaire ePROF) – Greece – and the training package for entrepreneurs ePACK – Lithuania – to other contexts, and the design of the ECVET youth entrepreneur curricula regarding the EQF system.
We invite you to learn more about the YES project through the digital leaflet which has been recently launched by the project partners.
