Santander hosted YES project third coordination meeting, which was held on 28 and 29 November 2013. DOCUMENTA takes part in this European initiative, promoted by the Development for Vocational Technical Education Centre (METGEM) of the University of Bahcesehir (Turkey), along with two other partners in that country – ISGID and the Governorship of Istanbul-; partners from Portugal – Instituto de Soldadura e Qualidade- and Greece – Institute of Entrepreneurship Development-.
YES (Youth Unemployment Fostering Entrepreneurial Skills) intends to transfer, adapt and test a training solution targeted to youngsters: the young entrepreneur ePROF profile and the ePACK training package.
During these days, the main project activities and results achieved to date were reviewed such as the completion of ePACK educational materials and the e-learning tool, or the elaboration of dissemination materials, with particular emphasis on the following steps that will be undertaken between the end of 2013 to mid-2014.
Upcoming activities to be carried out include pilot testing courses of the “YES pack” in each participating country. Around this activity, DOCUMENTA presented a set of guidelines for planning and organisation of piloting activities. Courses will begin around May of 2014-, summoning a number of 16 to 19 students per country aged 25 to 39 years. After its completion, a guide will be developed where balance of courses will be made and will develop a series of practical recommendations for the future implementation of the course and its homologation at European level in ECVET level- ECVET entrepreneur curricula-.
The next meeting will take place in Larissa (Greece) on 18 and 19 February 2014, which will carry out a training of trainers in the face of the pilot course, as well as a practical use of the e-learning tool workshop Athena.
