The main intellectual result of the Step Up project has been completed: the pedagogical manual. The Stepup2ICT project is aimed at developing the skills of adult educators in the use of ICT within their specific work context. This manual is created to help teachers to use e-Learning methods, tools and techniques from the planning phase to the evaluation phase of the participants’ learning.
The manual is structured in 6 areas within the educational process:
- Planning,
- evaluation of training needs,
- planning and selection of training content,
- creation of manuals, guides and exercises for training,
- how to conduct sessions properly,
- and resources for the evaluation and analysis of the learning of the participants in that training.
Each one of these aspects corresponds to the work developed by the project partners. The partnership is made up of organizations from Italy, Belgium, Lithuania and Portugal, specialized in the education sector in each of the regions. Each module includes 6 examples of training activities that use online tools to promote the use of digital technologies in the configuration of adult education, from the conception of the learning process to the final step of the evaluation.
To promote inclusive, sustainable and “smart” growth, high quality education and training is required. In particular, the use of ICT technologies is a central issue, since a more effective use of the aforementioned tools is necessary to allow people to be able to access them and use them in a current way, to improve the quality of the implemented measures and explore new opportunities for distance education.
The manual will soon be available online. Stay tuned!
