DOCUMENTA attended the second transnational meeting of IGMA3 project held the 4th&5th April in Drammen (Norway). A meeting that set the basis for the development of three of the main results of the project: the IGMA methodology for shortening the distance to labour market adapted to young adults (18-30), content for the curriculum related to methodology and targeted to guidance practitioners and trainers and, finally, the design of distance learning platform, support of all mentioned before.
Transversely to the project it has been designed a strategy for monitoring and quality assurance to guarantee, first of all, to achieve the expected results of the project, and secondly that intellectual outputs meet a quality standard that will permit their successfully transference and implementation at European level.
One of the innovative aspects of IGMA 3 is their working environment at local level. Both methodology and curricula are been elaborated following needs and recommendations by a wide agent network in each participating country that includes representatives of adult education organisations, guidance and counselling services, public services of employment, ONG’s working with young adults and employers or business associations. The main purpose is to produce a high quality methodological materials but very practical, that will help to practitioners and organisations to a better performance and effectiveness in their everyday work.
