During the implementation of the CERF project, the Educational Organization «DIMITRA» and the Chamber of Larissa conducted the European Conference: European Reference Framework (ERF): Development of Key Competences for Lifelong Learning and Employability, at the Municipal Art Gallery of Larissa (G.I. Katsigras Museum) on Thursday, 19th of September 2013.
The aim of the Conference was to highlight the role, the impact on the labor market and the need for modern citizens to obtain the eight Key Competences – as they are defined by the European Reference Framework.
According to the Council and the European Parliament, all European citizens need those eight Key Competences for their person al fulfillment, social inclusion, active citizenship and employability in a knowledge-based society.
The Conference was addressed to:
- Relative Productive and Economical Policy Makers,
- Business World,
- Professionals of Human Resources and Human Development departments, Employment Centres (public and non public),
- NGOs,
- Local, Regional and National Authorities,
- VET Organizations/ Associations, Trainers, etc.
