Since last November Documenta has been developing a new project co-financed by the European Commission through Erasmus+. It has a duration of 30 months and four partners in four different European countries: Documenta as coordinator (Spain), CSI (Cyprus), Consorzio ABN (Italy) and Kethea (Greece).
The “RSC against P&SE” project arises from the need to develop new innovative and participatory strategies to combat poverty and social exclusion in the European Union, and based on the civic and social commitment of active, intelligent and responsible citizenship, and which respond to the current situation: Covid-19 crisis, insufficiency of traditional strategies to combat poverty and social exclusion, emergence of a new poverty profile, EU commitment to the 2030 Agenda and the SDGs.
With this social and economic context, the project “RSC against P&SE” has set itself the general objective of contributing to the reduction of poverty and social exclusion through the design and systematization of an innovative and effective European Strategy for Education and Social Participation against Poverty and Social Exclusion, based on the construction of an “inclusive and collaborative learning ecosystem”, and in the networking of CLAICs (Local Communities of Inclusive and Collaborative Learning).
The different partners are already working on the first materials and actions proposed at the first transnational meeting held in Santander last May. In the coming months, their progress will be announced.
