INTELLECTUAL OUTPUTS

CURRICULA & ELABORATION OF TRAINING MATERIALS

Development of the curriculum and training materials linked to knowledge, skills and attitudes of INMATOUR profile.
The profile includes 5 different learning areas:

  • 1. Creativity and promotion of talent in tourism destinations
  • 2. Sustainable tourism and strategies in tourism destinations
  • 3. ICT tools in tourism design, interpretation and promotion
  • 4. Governance and Social Participation in Tourism Destinations
  • 5. CSR and Social Responsibility of Tourism Industry

This project also includes a serie of tools, guides and contents designed for the trainer to be able to adapt himself to the different students’ profile, to the course duration or to concrete objectives linked to the training. TEACHING & TRAINING MULTILINGUAL TOOLKIT

Development of a multimedia training toolkit and training materials in accordance to knowledge, skills and attitudes adapted to ERF (European Reference Framework) for “Innovation Management in Touristic Destinations”

The complete toolkit includes an on-line training platform and a Virtual Social Community as open space to allow access and contact among people and organizations from tourism sector at European level. All partners will also test that toolkit at EU level.

Apart from that we will develop a methodological guide to explain how the multimedia training tool works, tool which will be key to work with a methodology of “collaborative learning”.

INMATOUR NETWORK AT EU LEVEL

In this stage of the project, we will create a European network of people and organizations interested in management of Innovation in Touristic Destinations.
This network will help to create and share information, practical knowledge and experiences among experts, professionals of tourism and policymakers in those different areas of the project with the aim of continuing once the project is finished.

In this network we will also create an INMATOUR blog, an open virtual space where all participants of this community (tourism professionals, students and just graduated, apart from tourism agents working in different public and private institutions in touristic destinations) will be able to freely publish news, reviews or share documents and experiences.

FINAL PROJECT PUBLICATION

Design, drafting and publishing in paper format of a final publication which main aim is to disseminate main products and results achieved during the project, and promote an approach of “Intelligent and Responsible Touristic Development” at European level.

MULTIPPLIER EVENTS

PRESENTATION OF PROJECT AND PROFILE IN EACH COUNTRY

Realisation of 1 event in each participating country to share theoretical model on which the project is built and discuss challenges and opportunities on the level of adequacy of formal and non-formal vocational training to the needs of innovating in the tourism market.

DEMO WORKSHOP IN EACH COUNTRY FOR TOOLKIT & NET

Demo-workshop oriented to disseminate one of the core products of the project (training toolkit) and promote its usability at European level. Initial contact with potential beneficiaries of the on-line training platform and toolkit. Tools will be presented in a practical and dynamic way for a limited group of students, professionals and experts from the 5 countries to participate in the pilot testing of designed training package.

1 SEMINAR IN EACH COUNTRY TO DISSEMINATE ECVET CV

Main aim to the workshop is to increase level of knowledge on training material, tools and technological solutions created for the profile among target group defined in IMATOUR project.

FINAL CONFERENCE AT EU LEVEL

Final European Seminar to highlight that INMATOUR curriculum and its training toolkit give an added value to professional experience of experts in the sector, while they also offer an European dimension to education and training and it foster intersectorial and interregional cooperation to strength links between training in tourism and labour market.

TRANSVERSAL ACTIVITIES

MANAGEMENT AND COORDINATION

Main aim of this activity is to assure correct implementation of foreseen activities within the project, apart from follow up and control of budget of each activity and partner. To get that there will be a fluid and permanent communication among the partners. We will design different manuals and guides to facilitate the work to be done together.

DISSEMINATION AND EXPLOITATION OF RESULTS

Coordination of activities related to dissemination of results to get maximum impact and knowledge of those products and results achieved during the project, fostering their exploitation and sustainability once the project is finished. A dissemination guide will be designed, establishing the guidelines for coordinated dissemination in all countries involved in the project.

EVALUATION AND QUALITY

Continuous evaluation and follow up of the process with respect to: a) working program to assure fulfillment of foreseen results related to indicators; b) quality of products; c) work within the partnership. An Evaluation and Quality plan will be designed and it will explain methodology, stages and main indicators.
