THE INTRODUCTION OF MODELS OF SUSTAINABLE LOCAL DEVELOPMENT IN INTELLIGENT TERRITORIES APPROACH TO NET-WORKING, SOCIAL PARTICIPATION AND ENGAGEMENT WITH THE TERRITORY INTERNATIONAL VOCATION AND NET-WORKING PEOPLE AND NATURE IN THE CENTRE OF ECONOMIC THOUGHT		We subscribe the Lisbon and Gothenburg objectives, and we believe in a knowledge based economy which harmonizes economic growth, social cohesion and nature preservation. We design and give training in heritage, culture and environment; We lead the set in motion of Local Agenda 21 plans fostering development of the territories through respect to environment, net working among different agents and active participation of citizenship; We foster the incorporation of equality principles to local development policies; We promote leadership of women by designing and starting “Equal Opportunities Local Plans”; We favour socially responsible development through the design and foster of Corporate Social Responsibility territorial strategies. We design and develop complete processes of evaluation. We cannot understand action without thought, and we believe in a good evaluation as a good tool to guide us in the way to get defined aims, let us know if our projects have been successful and define new lines of work to give continuity to already carried out efforts.
